Management Accountant - 9 Month Fixed Term Contract

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Management Accountant to join a high‑impact, 9‑month project supporting process integration and financial controls improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and experience in internal controls to make a tangible difference across finance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts providing clear variance analysis and insight
• Prepare monthly accruals and prepayments journals, collating appropriate support with accurate and timely journal posting
• Lead and support recharge processes and intercompany reconciliations, including intercompany billing in line with internal deadlines
• Ensure accurate balance sheet maintenance, investigate discrepancies and present to the Financial Controller
• Review and enhance financial controls in line with audit requirements and internal controls
• Raise and manage POs as required, ensuring accurate coding and sufficient support
• Work closely with business teams to gather data sets and improve processes and support other financial reporting requirements

About you

• Experienced Management Accountant with hands‑on experience
• Confident handling DRs, CRs, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Experience with enforcing internal controls and audit requirements
• Familiarity with intercompany processes and recharge management
• Experience in the media industry is beneficial
• Practical, process‑focused, and able to work independently
