Management Accountant

Our high-growth client in the tech consultancy and advisory industry is looking for a new Management Accountant to join their growing team in London. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this position is ideal for a part-qualified Accountant seeking to expand their financial experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

1. Preparation of monthly financial statements, including the P&L and balance sheets.
2. Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for the group.
3. Managing the Accounts Receivables (AR) and Accounts Payables (AP) functions, including calculating client fees/revenues and preparing/submitting all customer invoices monthly.
4. Reporting of accruals and prepayments.
5. Processing monthly payroll for group companies and preparing journals.
6. Calculating depreciation for all tangible and intangible assets.
7. Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns for all group companies.
8. Assisting with group cash flow forecasting on a weekly and monthly basis.
9. Supporting the year-end audit process.
10. Performing additional ad-hoc duties as required.

The ideal candidate will be at the beginning of their studies or a part-qualified professional (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent), with solid accounting experience and the ability to assist in the management accounts process and broader finance functions. The candidate should be proactive, versatile, and capable of offering solutions and process improvements, while reliably delivering essential tasks. Strong systems experience, especially with Excel, is also required.
