A UK-based financial services firm is seeking a Management Accountant to join their expanding Finance Division. This role involves preparing management accounts, maintaining reconciliations, and analyzing financial performance. Candidates should be Part/Fully Qualified Accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong communication skills. The position offers a salary of £50k - £60k with a hybrid working model of 3 office days and 2 home days, plus 25 days holiday.

Job description

Overview

Management Accountant now required for the expansion of this Finance Division.

You will be joining this UK based company at an exciting time, with recent investment will take this business over 100m.

The role will naturally continue to grow into a FBP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts
• Work within a team to complete the month end processing, including accruals, prepayments, fixed asset disposals, additions, depreciation and other journals
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations
• Analyse performance against budgets and explain variances to relevant managers
• Interpretation and presentation of ad hoc financial reports
• Critical analysis of the numbers to gain a thorough understanding of the business activity behind them
• Work with the Operations teams to develop reporting and be the link between Operations and Finance
• Develop MI reporting for the Finance function and the wider Company
• IFRS 16 additions, disposals, and postings
• Support the Group Financial Controller in the production of MI for the Management meeting
• Support with the implementation of the new ERP system

Qualifications

Open to both Part/Fully Qualified Accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

Salary on offer, depending on experience 50k - 60k

Monday - Friday, 40 Hours
