Management Accountant

£50,000 per annum

Our client Exeter based client is seeking a talented and ambitious Management Accountant to join their rapidly growing team on a full-time, permanent basis. This exciting opportunity offers hybrid working arrangements, and fantastic benefits.

As the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for providing clear and accurate financial insights to the business.

The responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed analysis, commentary, and published documents to support financial reporting and decision-making.
• Lead or assist in the development of new financial structures, processes, or updates to existing frameworks as required.
• Support the preparation of forecasts, budgets, and ad-hoc financial analysis to aid management in strategic decision-making.
• Maintain and execute business processes and controls accurately, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.
• Take ownership of annual performance reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Provide support internal colleagues and stakeholders.

The candidate:

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant with a recognized professional certification such as ACA, CIMA, or ACCA, or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong data analysis and Excel skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex financial information effectively.
• Proactive in analysing business drivers and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Experienced in forecasting and financial modelling for strategic planning.
• Skilled at communicating financial concepts to non-finance professionals.
