Job summary

A leading environmental services company is seeking a Management Accountant to join their Accounts Department. The ideal candidate will be qualified or nearly qualified, with experience in a busy accounts environment. Responsibilities include producing monthly management accounts, supporting budgeting processes, and providing financial support to depots. Experience with Focalpoint or Access Dimensions is preferred, but not essential. This role contributes to a company committed to environmental sustainability.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a busy accounts department.
  • Experience within industrial services or a multi-site environment.

Responsibilities

  • Produce the monthly Management Accounts.
  • Own the reporting process including utilisation performance.
  • Support the Finance Director in the annual budgeting process.
  • Liaise with Group Finance to manage Intercompany process.
  • Provide financial support to depots, including monthly forecasting.
  • Support Sales Invoicing and manage the WIP process at month end.

Job description

A leading, environmental, energy and water infrastructure company is looking to add a Management Accountant to their busy and growing Accounts Department.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Produce the monthly Management Accounts
  • Own the reporting process including utilisation performance
  • Support the Finance Director in the annual budgeting process
  • Liaise with Group Finance to manage Intercompany process
  • Provide financial support to our depots, including monthly forecasting
  • Overhead variance analysis including analysis of credit cards and expenses
  • Support Sales Invoicing and manage the WIP process at month end
  • Liaise with the group accounts payable and credit control teams
  • Calculate and post prepayments, accruals and rebates
  • Produce balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintain key asset trackers
