A healthcare group is seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team at their Head Office in Banbury. The role requires a qualified accountant to manage monthly P&L and Balance Sheet accounts, oversee financial planning, and support finance assistants. Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable and Payable.

Job description

We are currently working exclusively with a Healthcare Group who are seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team, supporting two key hospital sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and proactive accountant to take on a broad and varied role in a fast-paced and evolving environment. You ll be based at the Head Office in Banbury and will report directly to the Group Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production of monthly accounts (P&L and Balance Sheet)
  • NHS reporting and monthly returns, including addressing challenges
  • Financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Cash flow forecasting and fixed asset control
  • Development and maintenance of finance policies and controls
  • Supervision and support of Finance Assistants
  • Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts
  • Support with corporation tax and other tax-related matters
  • Liaise with auditors and external stakeholders during audits

What We are Looking For:
  • Fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Part qualified considered if experienced.
  • Strong management accounting experience.
  • Proven ability to prepare reports and analysis for senior stakeholders
  • Proficient in financial systems; advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, formulas)
  • Experience with Sage50 desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
  • Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable and Payable
