A recruitment agency specializing in hospitality is seeking a Management Accountant / Finance Manager to support a growing hospitality business in London. The role involves assisting with month-end processes, management accounts preparation, and audit queries. Hybrid working is offered, with 3/4 days in the office. Fully qualified candidates with 1–3 years experience are preferred. This temporary position starts on January 2nd, 2024.

JAG Talent is partnered with a growing multi-site hospitality business to hire a Management Accountant / Finance Manager into the team on an initial 3 month temporary basis. This role requires a January 2nd Start to support through year end stats, audit and reporting whilst also having ownership of end to end management accounts. The role offers hybrid working with 3/4 days per week in the office in West London.

Management Accounting

• Assist in the month end close process, liaising with accounts payable and closing ledgers in a timely manner
• Post journals in each trading entity to recognise accruals, release prepayments and depreciation
• Assist in preparation of management accounts and board deck
• Preparation of key general ledger reconciliations, covering revenue control accounts, prepayments, accruals and fixed asset registers
• Deliver financial insights to operational teams to support decision‑making
• Preparation of consolidated financial information for all entities
• Prepare intercompany matrix and identify and resolve any one‑sided postings
• Assist with year end close process and preparation of tie‑thru documents for statutory accounting
• Review aged creditors and aged debtors reports and assist the accounts payable team with clearing down balances as required
• Assist with audit queries
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and processes

Qualifications

• Fully qualified with 1–3 years PQE
• Experience within the hospitality, consumer or multi‑site industries is preferred but not essential
