Sewell Wallis is excited to be representing this company in a truly career-changing opportunity, working as a Management Accountant for a leading company in the Property sector. The role is based in Stockport, Greater Manchester, with excellent transport links for easy commuting.

What will you be doing?
  • Owning the module setup, ensuring all CAPEX is correctly coded
  • Managing transactional uploads
  • Collaborating with external cost consultants to report actuals against budget monthly
  • Recognizing cost accruals as part of month-end reporting
  • Preparing CAPEX figures for monthly CAPEX/earn-out drawdowns and providing insightful variance analysis to the Treasury team
  • Undertaking tax and reporting obligations
  • Actualizing portfolio CAPEX monthly and producing an insightful output report
  • Producing financial reports for the development team regarding land held under options and organizing related receipts
  • Providing necessary information to valuers for investment properties identified as land or under construction
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly and management accounts
  • Handling ad hoc queries
What skills will you need?
  • Qualified in ACCA, ACA, or CIMA
  • Experience as a Management Accountant in the property sector
  • Ambitious attitude with initiative and drive
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Preferably some experience with Power BI
