Job Title: Temporary Management Accountant

Working Hours: Full time
Salary: £15-£18 per hour

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Temporary Management Accountant to support our client. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business and play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial information to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Produce financial reports and provide insightful commentary on financial performance
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and ensure all ledgers are up to date
  • Assist with year-end preparation and audit requirements
  • Provide financial support to departmental managers and stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to finance transformation initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
  • Help with any other administrative duties within the business
Key Requirements
  • Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
  • Proven experience in a management accounting or similar finance role
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Must have experience on Sage
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
