Management Accountant

Salary: Up to 45,000pa

We have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a friendly team in Stratford-upon-Avon.

About the Role

As a Management Accountant, you will oversee the accounting functions, including producing management accounts, supervising the Accounts Assistants, and ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on time.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis.
  2. Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management activities.
  3. Train and support team members to maintain accuracy and timeliness.
  4. Strengthen internal controls and improve finance processes.
  5. Reconcile financial records and support audits and year-end accounts.
Skills and Experience:
  • Relevant finance qualification (ACA / CIMA / QBE) or equivalent experience.
  • Team management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience handling large datasets.
  • Cash management and purchase ledger oversight experience.
