Management Accountant

Description

We are recruiting for an experienced Management Account to join our team in Bilsthorpe.

The successful candidate will deliver accurate and timely monthly management accounts, budgets, financial forecasts and insightful reporting to support improvements in business performance, working with the senior management team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate month-end accounts .
  • Posting of journals; stock usage, accruals & prepayments, accrued revenue.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly management meeting presentations.
  • Collate and maintain monthly business KPIs.
  • Assist in preparation of annual budgets working closely with Directors.
  • Work closely with central finance team in providing answers to their queries regarding forecasts.
  • Reconcile intercompany balances each month.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor / report on accounts activities and provide relevant information to senior management.
  • Do periodic reviews of company debtors and creditors.
  • Develop standardised reporting to improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide specific CapEx analysis and project support as required.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • CIMA/ACCA finalist or newly Qualified.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills & attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and formal documentation skills.
  • Analytical and logical in approach with the ability to analyse data and formulate action plans.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective and positive working relationships within and outside of the department.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively and to plan and manage own agenda.
  • Must have a proactive and safety focused approach.
  • Strong PC and technical knowledge and skills with a good working knowledge of the usual Microsoft packages.
  • Ideally proficient in report writing software e.g. - JET Reporting / Power BI
