An exciting opportunity has arisen for two experienced finance professionals to join NHS Tayside as Management Accountants. These roles offer the chance to work in a fast-paced, complex, and rewarding environment, contributing to the financial and operational management of NHS Tayside.
As a Management Accountant, you will play a vital role in shaping the financial future of health and social care services, making a real difference to communities across Tayside.
Post 1 - Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, the post holder will have responsibility for delivering a management accounts service to an organisational area/service/department. As a member of the Finance Team the post holder will assist in supporting the organisation to ensure strong financial management within NHS Tayside.
Post 2 – Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, this post will have a focus on ensuring our financial systems are robust, efficient, and aligned with operational needs. You will support the development, maintenance, and optimisation of our financial systems, supporting accurate reporting and compliance.
NHS Tayside covers the Angus, Dundee and Perth & Kinross localities, serving a population of 414,000, employing over 14,000 staff. We work collaboratively with our three Integration Joint Boards and other stakeholders: local authorities, universities and third sector partners. One of the four teaching hospitals in Scotland we provide a comprehensive range of services across primary care, community services and acute hospitals.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
