Based in Derby, this office-based position offers scope to manage core accounting tasks, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide insight-driven financial analysis to drive informed decisions.

Formación

• Qualified Management Accountant or in latter stage of study (CIMA or ACCA).
• Experience in manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• Strong ability to interpret financial data to support decision making.
• Confident in engaging with stakeholders outside Finance.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare accurate management accounts to give colleagues a clear view of financial performance.
• Review financial results and explain key movements to support informed decisions.
• Produce regular financial reports that are timely, clear and fit for purpose.
• Work with accounting and finance colleagues to maintain reliable financial information.
• Support budgeting activity by preparing financial data and reporting on performance.
• Contribute to forecasting by reviewing available financial information and highlighting changes.
• Analyse costs and performance trends to help identify practical actions.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting processes across the Accounting & Finance department.
• Adhoc duties may be required as part of the role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded Management Accountant to play a key role in their Finance Team within the Manufacturing indsutry. This role would suit someone who is a Qualified Management Accountant or a latter stage studier.

Client Details

Our client is a Manufacturing organisation in Derby and looking for a Management Accountant to join their team. As part of this role you will manage core accounting and finance activities as well as help the business in making informed finance decisions. This opportunity would suit a Management Accountant (Qualified or latter stage studier CIMA or ACCA) who enjoys partnering with operation teams and influencing business performance within a Manufacturing environment. Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Ability to prepare management accounts and clear financial reports.
• Experience working within Manufacturing (advantageous)
• Confidence in working closely with stakeholders outside of finance.
• Ability to interpret financial data to support with decision making.
• Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to explain movements in performance.
• Experience of budgeting and forecasting activity.
• Confidence working with financial data and maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to analyse costs and identify relevant financial trends.
• Good knowledge of accounting and finance processes.
• Able to commute to their offices in Derby.

Job Offer

Permanent Management Accountant opportunity in Derby.

Salary of up to £55,000, dependent on the level of experience and qualification.
