Colchester charity seeking to recruit a Qualified Management Accountant


Our client is a high profile and well-established charity based in Colchester. They provide key services to the local community and have an excellent reputation.


We are assisting in recruiting a Qualified Accountant to the newly created role of Management Accountant. Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for all budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for the charity. Working closely with budget holders across the organisation, you will provide a high quality business partnering service and provide accurate and timely analysis on a regular basis. You will provide a monthly cash flow and prepare all month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations.


The ideal candidate will be CIMA, ACCA or ACA Qualified and have a proven track record of working in the charities sector. Ideally you will have experience of Xero finance system (or similar) and be able to demonstrate thorough understanding of Charities SORP (FRS 102).
