About the Role:

The Management Accountant plays a vital role in the monthly close process by preparing journals, conducting reconciliations, and producing accurate and timely financial information. This role supports both entity and client finance by maintaining data integrity, supporting audit compliance, and contributing to performance tracking.

What You Will Be Doing:

Financial Reporting & Control

• Prepare and post monthly journals, including accruals and prepayments.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
• Assist in preparing monthly reporting packs, commentary, and dashboards.
• Maintain documentation and provide support for internal controls.

Client Finance & Revenue Assurance

• Support tracking of revenue, direct costs, and margin across client accounts.
• Assist with variance analysis, billing validation, and client profitability reporting.
• Help ensure accurate revenue recognition and identify issues proactively.

Business Partnering & Insight

• Collaborate with operational teams to gather inputs and explain variances.
• Provide timely and relevant data to support decision-making.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting cycles.

Process Improvement & Systems

• Maintain master data and support updates to finance systems.
• Identify and escalate process gaps or inefficiencies.
• Participate in automation or standardisation initiatives.

Who You Are:

• Qualified or finalist (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and close processes.
• Previous experience in a similar finance role preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
