Overview

Management Accountant – Reinsurance | London | Hybrid (2 days office based)

Budget: £38,000-£45,000 (depending on experience)

Must be available to start within 4-6 weeks!

The Role

Arthur Financial are exclusively supporting a UK based reinsurer with the search for an experienced Management Accountant to join their close-knit finance team based in London. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a purpose-driven business at the heart of making UK flood insurance more accessible and sustainable.

Key responsibilities
  • Producing monthly departmental reports and contributing to the quarterly finance board packs
  • Supporting with planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting cycles
  • Assisting with VAT returns, expense reporting, project finance tracking, and bond trade reconciliations
  • Partnering with teams across the organisation to resolve ad-hoc financial queries
  • Supporting regulatory compliance, internal process documentation, and investment tracking
What we’re looking for
  • Part-qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with a strong foundation in management accounting
  • Confident Excel user with good communication skills
  • Insurance sector experience is desirable, but not essential
  • SUN Accounting experience (desirable)
  • IFRS17 experience (desirable)
