Management Accountant

Location: Carrickfergus

Salary: £45,000 - £52,000pa

Black Fox Solutions are currently working alongside a global manufacturing company who are looking to bring a Management Accountant on to the team. If you are an experienced finance professional looking to take the next step in your career, this could be the perfect opportunity.

Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation and submission of monthly management accounts and quarterly reporting packs to Head Office
  • Assist with year-end audits and preparation of annual financial statements
  • Reconcile selected balance sheet accounts at month-end and year-end
  • Monitor and analyse raw material inventory; coordinate physical and cycle counts; review costing accuracy
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, including payment routines and debt recovery
  • Provide day-to-day coordination and delegation of tasks within the Finance Team
  • Prepare investment appraisals for capital expenditure projects, and post-implementation reviews of completed capital projects
  • Maintain and develop the Company’s Fixed Asset register on the accounting system and ensure Assets are correctly depreciated
What you'll need
  • ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualification is preferred but QBE will be considered
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
