Job description

Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Cambridge

I have exclusively partnered with a growing manufacturing organisation that is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to be based at their successful Cambridge site.
This role will report directly to the Financial Controller and offers an excellent development opportunity for a driven Assistant Accountant or Management Accountant who is eager to grow, learn, and continue with their professional studies.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with month-end preparation and close
* Prepare weekly and monthly board packs
* Post journals and provide detailed variance analysis
* Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
* Prepare costing reports, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and post month-end journals
* Manage costings, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
* Business partner across the wider organisation to support financial decision-making

Qualifications and Skills:
* AAT qualified or currently studying ACCA/CIMA
* Experience within an SME environment is desirable
* Self-motivated with strong business partnering skills
* A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and develop
* Strong Excel skills and confidence in data manipulation
