Starr Underwriting is seeking a proactive and organized individual for an exciting hybrid opportunity in their Finance team, based in Bury St Edmunds. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts and financial reporting while collaborating closely with senior management. Candidates should be part or fully qualified accountants with advanced Excel skills and have experience in IFRS and UK GAAP. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this role.
Purpose of the Role
This exciting new hybrid opportunity has arisen to join our Finance team reporting to our Senior Management Accountant for the Advisory Central Division. You will undertake the preparation of monthly management accounts, consisting of the profit and loss and balance sheets in addition to the preparation of information for statutory accounts, audits and forecasting in line with the Group financial control framework and Group reporting timetable.
This role will require 2 or 3 days per week in the office in Bury St Edmunds.
