A leading business with a household brand, based in Blackburn, following some exciting changes, has a Management Accountant role available for a dynamic, part-qualified Management Accountant.

Job Description

This role will report directly to the divisional Finance Manager and will work closely with other site directors. Responsibilities include:

1. Producing monthly management packs, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasting
2. Preparing annual budgets and forecasts, including variance analysis with commentaries
3. Stock valuation and usage calculations
4. Controlling the nominal ledger and performing balance sheet account reconciliations
5. Cost and cash control
6. Cash flow management and reporting
7. Maintaining the fixed asset register
8. Handling VAT returns
