Management Accountant - Global Retail Business - Blackburn - £60,000

Your new company

A multinational retailer based in Lancashire is looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This business has a large global presence and is expanding rapidly. It's an exciting time to join the company.

Your new role

Responsibilities include: preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy; supporting variance and trend analysis by site; posting key journals such as accruals, prepayments, and deferred income; assisting the commercial finance team with information and performance analysis for decision-making; and managing a team of trainee accountants to support their development.

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified Accountant or QBE. You should be a good team player, capable of working with stakeholders at various levels. This role is suitable for a first-time mover from practice, especially since current senior managers are practice-trained. Experience managing a small team and working with retail clients is preferable.
