Management Accountant

Salary: £40,000

Our client is seeking a Management Accountant to take charge of all financial and accounting activities, including the production of monthly management accounts. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise will be crucial in ensuring adherence to financial policies, procedures, processes, and statutory requirements. You will have the chance to partner with other departments, providing them with accurate, up-to-date financial information for informed decision-making across the organisation.

What you'll do:

• Lead on the production of monthly management accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure adherence to all financial policies, procedures, processes, and statutory requirements.
• Support the Finance Business Partner and manage other members of the Finance team.
• Partner with other departments to provide accurate, up-to-date financial information.
• Deliver analysis of key business reporting such as dashboards, month-end reports, business reviews, client reports, budgets, flash forecasts and other ad-hoc analysis.
• Understand variances to budget and monitor initiative delivery plans.
• Assist in training operational teams in the use of business reporting and KPIs.
• Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process for the venue.
• Attend client finance meetings when required.
