Job summary

Abacus Consulting partners with a growing Bedford-area business to recruit a Management Accountant for a newly created role reporting to the Financial Controller.

The role will involve variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and accruals, with preparation of board packs and close partnership with the senior management team. Study support for CIMA/ACCA/AAT is provided, with on-site work required.

Experience with COINS and strong Excel skills are essential to succeed in this hands-on role.

Management Accountant, newly created role, growing business, Bedford area, £depends on experience and qualifications

Abacus Consulting are delighted to be partnering a growing business as they search for a Management Accountant to join the team. This is a newly created role, reporting into the Financial Controller.

As the Management Accountant, your duties will include:

• Variance analysis and commentary
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Accruals and prepayments
• VAT returns
• Preparing board pack
• Business partnering
• Provide support to Financial Controller, Finance Director and Senior Management Team

Salary will depend on your level of management accounts experience and also how far you have progressed with your professional qualifications (CIMA, ACCA or AAT). Study support will be provided.

Must have COINS experience and be confident Excel user.
