Job summary

A manufacturing group in the UK is seeking a Management Accountant to enhance their finance team. Responsibilities include preparing monthly management accounts, financial reporting, and supporting budgeting processes. The ideal candidate should have management accounts experience, and accounting qualifications such as CIMA/ACCA/ACA are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years management accounts experience required.
• Qualifications in CIMA/ACCA/ACA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Monthly Management Accounts and report results.
• Conduct Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations and P&L Analysis.
• Support budget processes and year-end audit.

Our client, a group manufacturing business, is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to add value to the finance team and wider business departments. Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key duties are as follows:

1. Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
2. Reporting of monthly results into the Group Reporting software
3. Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations, P&L & Variance Analysis
4. Supporting the budget and forecasting process
5. Preparation of weekly cash flow forecasts
6. Supporting the year-end audit process, with preparation of information for external auditors
7. Monthly KPI Analysis
8. Maintaining the Company’s Fixed Asset register

The successful individual must have at least 3 years of management accounts experience and preferably be qualified in CIMA/ACCA/ACA or close to qualification. A manufacturing background would be beneficial but is not essential.
