We are partnered with a leading business to appoint a Management Accountant to join a growing team based in Co. Armagh.
Your new role
As a Management Accountant, you will join a dynamic finance team and report to the Finance Manager. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts.
- Improving financial reporting processes.
- Collaborating with various departments to enhance decision-making.
- Generating and presenting variance reports.
- Developing and distributing KPIs.
- Supporting Accounts Payable and Credit Control.
- Monitoring working capital levels.
- Participating in ad hoc finance projects.
This role is based in Portadown with hybrid working arrangements and occasional travel to other sites.
What you'll need to succeedTo excel in this role, you will need:
- Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Strong IT literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Flexible and able to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Highly proactive with a can-do attitude.
Desirable:- 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in standard costing.
