Ascent Recruitment Limited is seeking a Management Accountant to join a fast-growing property business in South Manchester. The role offers broad exposure to financial reporting, commercial analysis and operational finance across development projects and operating assets.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will handle monthly management accounts, variance analysis and board reporting, while overseeing month-end processes and KPI development.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Strong management accounting, analytical and reporting skills.
• Commercially minded, with the confidence to work closely with operational stakeholders.
• Previous experience of multiple sites/multi entity accounting (desirable)
• Previous experience within property, hotels or hospitality (desirable)

Responsabilités

• Preparing monthly management accounts, variance analysis and supporting board reporting.
• Managing month-end processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monitoring property development costs, project expenditure and budgets across multiple entities.
• Working closely with operational teams to analyse revenue, occupancy and financial performance.
• Developing KPI reporting and identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
• Supporting budgeting, VAT, CIS and audit preparation.

Ascent Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a fast-growing property business based in South Manchester.
