Management Accountant

We are recruiting for a leading workwear clothing brand operating in the B2B market who have a great opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant.

Duties:

1. Supporting in the preparation of the monthly accounts.
2. Preparation of board reports and analysis to the monthly management accounts.
3. Supporting balance sheet reconciliations.
4. Monthly accounting reconciliations - control accounts/ intercompany accounts.
5. Analysing variances and working with budget holders to take mitigating action as necessary.
6. Tax compliance:
7. Ensure compliance with local/ European market requirements, regulations, and tax issues.
8. Build and maintain relationships with bank, auditors, tax advisors, and HMRC.
9. Assist with the delivery and implementation of cost-effective and efficient accounting and financial systems, policies, and processes that meet the current and future business requirements of the business.

Qualifications / Experience required:

1. A recognised professional accounting qualification (either ACA, ACCA or ACMA) is preferred.
2. At least 3-5 years in a Management Accounting role.
3. High attention to detail.
4. Strong I.T. skills, in particular knowledge of the operation and administration of accounting systems.
