A well-established manufacturing company in Preston is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team. This role will involve reporting to the Finance Controller and handling various responsibilities, such as the production of monthly management accounts and variance analysis. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, particularly for liaising with non-financial personnel, and strong IT skills in MS Excel.

Description

A well established manufacturing company, who have just gone through a period of acquisition and with a strong reputation within their field are recruiting a Management Accountant to join their team.

As a Management Accountant, you will be reporting into the Finance Controller, responsible for the monthly production of Management Accounts.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: production of monthly management accounts; production of monthly profit reports; variance analysis; month end profit and loss reporting; balance sheet reconciliations; preparing budgets and forecasts.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have recent knowledge of working in a month end finance role
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills particularly as this position will involve liaising with non financial personnel
  • Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel are essential
