Job summary

A well-established manufacturing company in Preston is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team. A well established manufacturing company, who have just gone through a period of acquisition and with a strong reputation within their field are recruiting a Management Accountant to join their team.

As a Management Accountant, you will be reporting into the Finance Controller, responsible for the monthly production of Management Accounts.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: production of monthly management accounts; production of monthly profit reports; variance analysis; month end profit and loss reporting; balance sheet reconciliations; preparing budgets and forecasts.

The successful candidate will:

• Have recent knowledge of working in a month end finance role
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills particularly as this position will involve liaising with non financial personnel
• Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel are essential
