Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • SIGN-ON BONUS: $10,000
  • Position: Mammography Technologist II

  • Location: Bolingbrook - 130 N. Weber Rd

  • Floating Locations: Plainfield and Naperville sites

  • Full-Time, 40 Hours Weekly

  • Hours: M-F 7-330 or 745-415, 9-530, or 10-630

  • Weekends: Will work every other Saturday

  • On-Call: On-call weekends: rotating Saturdays, possibly Sunday

What you will do:

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, operates radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs used by physicians to detect and treat breast cancer.In doing so, positions patients, adjusts xray equipment to correct setting for each examination, and evaluates films quality.Tests radiologic equipment and maintains quality assurance records.Performs related office duties as necessary. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice. Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.

What you will need:

  • Education: A High School Diploma or GED. Meets all ACR/MQSA (American College of Radiology/Mammography Quality Standard Act) requirements. Associate's Degree or higher, preferred

  • Licenses/Certifications: ARRT(R)(M) (American Registry of Radiological Technology) (Radiology)(Mammography) certification with current registration or ARRT (Mammography) registry eligible (i.e., Certificate of Program Completion or a letter from the Radiology Mammograph Program Director of the accredited school.) IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure. Current CPR (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
