Job summary

University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Radiographer – Mammography to join the Breast Screening team. The post is Band 6 with a permanent contract, based at Royal Lancaster Infirmary, Lancaster, with duties across multiple screening sites in Lancashire and South Cumbria.

Applicants may be experienced Mammographers or Diagnostic Radiographers training in Mammography. The role includes symptomatic imaging and the potential for flexible hours.

Qualifications

• BSc Radiography or equivalent.
• HCPC Registration.
• Evidence of CPD.
• Post Graduate Award in Mammography.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist Mammography imaging within the Breast Screening service across Lancashire and South Cumbria.
• Deliver symptomatic imaging services as required by the Breast Screening and Imaging pathways.
• Travel across Lancashire and South Cumbria to meet service demand and cover multiple sites.
