The Role:

Providing practical and emotional care to enable individuals to lead as independent a life as possible. Flexibility is required as shifts include bank holidays, weekends, and potential sleep-ins.

Main duties and responsibilities:
  1. Implement individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment.
  2. Maintain effective communication with service users, families, and others, respecting confidentiality.
  3. Support service users with meals, laundry, cleaning, and social events.
  4. Maintain accurate notes and records.
  5. Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care.
Personal Characteristics:
  • Willingness to work towards a Diploma in Health and Social Care.
  • Experience supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities, or mental health issues.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Confidence to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Passion for working with vulnerable adults.
  • Commitment to safeguarding standards.
