About the Role:

As a TA, you'll work closely with students with a range of special educational needs, supporting them both in the classroom and during physical activities. You'll play a key role in promoting engagement, confidence, and positive behaviour through structured learning.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide 1:1 and small group support in both physical and academic sessions
  2. Support students with complex needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and more
  3. Encourage active participation and build positive relationships
  4. Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and the wider school team
Requirements:
  1. Experience working with children or young people (school or sports setting preferred)
  2. Strong understanding of SEN and behaviour management
  3. Enthusiastic, resilient, and proactive
  4. A background or strong interest in sport and physical education
  5. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
  6. This is a male-specific role due to safeguarding requirements.
