Lifeways Group is seeking a Male Support Worker in Newcastle to help people with learning disabilities and mental health needs live independently at home and in the community. Full-time, part-time, and bank hours available in NE3/NE4.

You don't need prior care experience; full training is provided. We value kind, reliable individuals with good communication, a positive attitude and a passion for helping others.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Support Worker, you'll help people with a variety of needs including learning disabilities and mental health problem live independently both at home and in the community.

• Supporting with shopping and everyday errands
• Accompanying him on outings and community activities
• Helping with cooking, cleaning and household tasks
• Providing personal care and practical support
• Encouraging independence and building confidence
• Supporting physical health and wellbeing

Most importantly, you'll help someone live the life they choose.
