We are seeking a Male Intensive Support Worker to join our dedicated night team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to adults with complex needs, autism, learning disabilities, and behaviours that challenge.

This is a critical and rewarding role suited for someone who thrives under pressure, remains calm in crisis, and is driven by a strong desire to make a lasting impact.

Your Role: Stability, Safety, and Empowerment

As a key member of our waking night support team, you will provide consistent 1:1 care, ensuring safety, routine, and dignity throughout the night. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting structured routines and meaningful engagement

  • Assisting with personal care, wellbeing, and domestic tasks

  • Implementing Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies to de-escalate behaviours

  • Maintaining accurate documentation, including care plans and risk assessments

  • Promoting community inclusion and fostering independence

You won’t just be providing support—you’ll be a trusted presence and a pillar of stability for the people we care for.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a compassionate, confident professional who can bring the following:

  • Minimum of 6 months’ experience supporting individuals with complex needs or behaviours that challenge

  • A calm, resilient, and emotionally mature approach

  • Working knowledge of PBS and person-centred care

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Commitment to professionalism, empathy, and safety in all situations

Please note: Due to the nature of the role, we are recruiting for a Male Support Worker only (as permitted under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1).
