Job summary

Dimensions is seeking a confident Male Support Worker to join our TF2 team in Telford, assisting a young man with learning disability and autism who lives independently. The role involves active, outdoors-focused support with 2:1 in the home and 2:1 in the community, using structured routines and Positive Behaviour Support techniques.

Shifts include days and evenings; driving a mobility vehicle is required.

Qualifications

• Calm, patient and proactive individual for a male support role.
• Ability to recognise distress and follow structured routines.
• Experience with autism, distress behaviours or Positive Behaviour Support preferred, full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support.
• Follow structured routines and support medication administration.
• Use Positive Behaviour Support and PROACT-SCIPr-informed approaches.
• Support long walks, gym sessions and community activities with 2:1 staffing.
• Recognise distress signs and maintain clear boundaries.
• Collaborate with team to ensure consistent support and transition planning.
