Support Worker Role at REESON Education

REESON Education is recruiting for a male support worker at a special needs college in Hackney. As a support worker, you will assist pupils with their daily needs both in the classroom and the community. There are permanent roles available for suitable candidates.

This is a full-time role. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship, as we do not offer sponsorship.

  • Support worker experience is preferred but not essential.
  • You must be able to commute easily to Hackney.
  • You must be available to work Monday to Friday during term time and have no visa restrictions.

We are seeking support workers to assist young adults with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, and challenging behaviors. The college has various services across different campuses. The role is based at the Hackney site, with opportunities to transfer to other campuses later.

No two days are the same, but your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting pupils in daily living activities, including engaging with the community.
  • Supporting social activities and facilitating connections with family and friends.
  • Working as part of a classroom team, as this role involves classroom support.
