Exciting Support Worker Roles Across Wales

Active Care Group’s Care in the Home Wales division is growing! We’re passionate about delivering safe, reliable, and outcome-focused care, thanks to our exceptional team of support workers, clinicians, and leaders.

Our vision for Care in the Home in Wales continues to expand, and we’re looking for highly motivated, proactive Support Workers who share our commitment to providing empowering care that enables clients to live independently in their own homes.

What you'll be doing:

Imagine this: you wake up knowing today won’t just be a “tick-the-box” kind of day. Instead, you’ll be helping someone live life to the fullest—from MMA Mondays to countryside dog walks and midweek Welsh adventures. Sound like your kind of vibe?

We’re on the hunt for energetic, kind-hearted Male Support Workers to join our team in Powys. You'll work closely with one individual—a man who’s overcome a stroke and lives with visual impairment—yet still enjoys having three dogs, energy, and a zest for every day.

A Day in the life might include...

  • Cheering ringside at Monday MMA
  • Exploring hidden Welsh gems midweek
  • Playing fetch with the dogs
  • Spontaneous plans on the weekend—expect the unexpected!

A valid driving licence is essential—our client loves the open road and doesn’t like being indoors. Neither do we.

About You:

For our client, you need to be someone who:

  • Sees the person before the paperwork
  • Believes caring is a superpower, not just a skill
  • Brings joy, resilience, and a good sense of humour
  • Feels at home in meaningful conversations and muddy boots

If you’re ready to make a real difference and have some laughs along the way, we’d love to meet you.

What we can offer you:

  • A paid DBS check
  • Top-tier training from our Learning Hub and Clinical Nurses
  • Consistent work with regular, rolling rotas, 11am – 5pm, 7 days a week
  • Holiday pay, a Nest pension, and career support
  • Active Awards programme to celebrate outstanding care
  • Refer a friend and earn up to £1,500

At Active Care Group, we are the A Team that feels like home. You’ll join a supportive community where your impact is recognized, and being yourself is celebrated.

We’re dedicated to helping our clients live with independence, confidence, and joy—encouraging passions, respecting routines, and celebrating individuality every day.

If this resonates with you, why wait? Apply now and bring your heart to where it matters most.

Active Care Group is an Equal Opportunities Employer. Due to the nature of the position, there is a Genuine Occupational Requirement to recruit male Personal Healthcare Assistants.
