East Riding of Yorkshire Council is seeking a Personal Assistant to support a 20-year-old man with autism and learning disabilities. The role is community and home-based, with activities and outings, requiring a male worker and a driver. Mileage is paid.

There are up to 18 hours per week available, with flexible days/evenings/overnights and cover. DBS clearance and references are required at cost to the local authority.

Competenze

• Experience working with children/adults with additional needs.
• DBS/Reference checks required; cost to be met by the local authority.
• Male worker preferred due to privacy and decency.
• Must be a car driver; mileage will be paid.

Mansioni

• Provide support and companionship in the community and at home.
• Support the young man with activities (gym, swimming, bingo, arcsades, days out).
• Shadow existing staff and integrate into the team.
