Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons from KS3 to KS5, ensuring students develop their skills and understanding in a range of sports.
  • Specialise in coaching boys' sports, including football, rugby, cricket, athletics, or other competitive and recreational activities.
  • Encourage students to develop teamwork, resilience, and a lifelong appreciation for physical activity and health.
  • Design and implement engaging and inclusive lesson plans that cater to students of all abilities.
  • Play an active role in the school’s extracurricular sports programme, coaching teams, organising fixtures, and running fitness initiatives.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive sporting culture where all students feel encouraged to participate.
Candidate Requirements
  • Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
  • Formal teaching qualification with QTS (e.g., PGCE).
  • Experience coaching or teaching boys' sports at school or club level.
  • Passion for sports education and promoting physical well-being.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
