Overview

Full Time Support Workers - Intensive/Brand New Service

Aspirations Care are looking to recruit Full Time Support Workers for our brand new service opening in Stoke on Trent. As a support worker you will be passionate about supporting adults with Learning Disabilities/Challenging Behaviour.

  • Location: Stoke on Trent
  • Salary: £13 per hour
  • Hours: Full Time, Days & Nights

About You:

  • Ideally you will have a minimum of 6 months experience supported adults – this is not essential.
  • Passionate about making a difference.
  • Ability to adapt to difficult situations.
  • A positive and caring nature.
  • Energetic and understanding.
  • A good sense of humour

Main Duties:

As a Support Worker, you will be working as part of a team providing support for individuals with learning disabilities, mental health, and autism.

  • Helping with the challenges of everyday life such as dressing, cooking and general household tasks
  • Participate in hobbies, supporting with social engagements and enabling our people to live their best life!
  • Administer medication as required.
  • Complete daily care plans
  • Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are met and to protect the adult’s rights to live safely and free from abuse or neglect.
  • Assist the people we support to learn new skills.
  • Understand safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Work as part of a team of dedicated, qualified, and capable staff team who put the people we support at the heart of what we do.
