Base pay range

Join Alcedo Care Workingotn as a Male Care Assistant's working within the areas of Workington and surrounding areas.

Excellent rates of pay £14.75 - £15.25 per hour PLUS Pension PLUS Holiday Pay (equating to a Rolled Up pay rate of £17.03 - £17.70).

Skills Required & Qualifications

• 6 months care experience or relevant experience in a support worker, education, care assistant role.
• ADHD, Learning Disability, Social Visits expereince.
• A strong desire to support others and make a positive difference in people's lives is essential.

Role

As a people person, you will enjoy meeting and supporting a diverse range of people of all ages.

The Care Assistant role involves personal care including continence support, washing, dressing as well as support with medication, meal preparation and helping with household tasks,just as importantly,you'llpromote people's independence, whilst bringing a real sense of joy to those you support.

You do not need previous experience to join our team, as all training is provided to boost your skills and confidence.

Due to the nature of the role, including personal care, unsupervised work with vulnerable individuals, and the need to work flexible hours including late evenings and night shifts, applicants must be aged 18 or over. This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
