Help Someone in Your Community Live Life Their Way
Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference every day?
At Lifeways, we’re supporting a gentleman in Swindon to live an active, independent, and fulfilling life, and we’re looking for a caring and enthusiastic Male Support Worker to join our friendly team.
This is much more than a care role. It’s about building a positive relationship, sharing interests, encouraging independence, and helping someone enjoy the things they love most.
Whether you’re experienced in support work or completely new to care, we’ll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.
The ideal support worker will enjoy building connections, sharing interests, and helping someone feel valued, listened to, and supported.
Most importantly, you’ll help someone live the life they choose while remaining connected to their local community.
You don't need previous care experience. If you have the right attitude and values, we’ll teach you the rest.
A full UK driving licence is highly desirable, as the person we support enjoys regular drives and community outings.
Experience supporting people with behaviours of concern or Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) knowledge would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.
Full time -37.5 Hour Contract
Flexibility to work weekends is required.
At Lifeways, we believe our colleagues are at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we invest in your development, wellbeing, and future.
If you're looking for a meaningful role where you can build genuine connections, support someone to achieve their goals, and be part of a caring team, we'd love to hear from you.
This post is exempt from the Equality Act 2010 (Schedule 9, Part 1) which provides for the application of a genuine occupational requirement.
