Job summary

UKCIL Ltd in Leeds is seeking a male Personal Care Assistant to support two teenage boys with physical disabilities. You will assist with activities, personal care, and transfers using a hoist. Flexible weekend/evening hours, up to 8 hours per week per boy.

Experience with children with disabilities and moving & handling training are essential. You will be directly employed by the mother of the boys, with hours discussed to suit their needs.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with physical disabilities.
• Moving & handling training required to perform transfers safely.
• Ability to assist with intimate personal care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the two boys with accessing suitable activities.
• Assist with intimate personal care as required.
• Support transfers using a hoist for wheelchair users.
• Hours: up to 8 hours per week per boy, on weekends or evenings.
