Work Flexibility: Field-based

Role Overview:

Provide clinical product support to all end users, offering on-site guidance during surgical procedures. Conduct training, in-services, and customer education for assigned accounts. Offer feedback on product design to enhance performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Train surgeons and OR staff on the operation of robotic arm applications, equipment, and instruments to ensure optimal placement and precision.
  2. Utilize proprietary software to prepare pre-operative CT scans, assist in implant planning, sizing, and positioning.
  3. Generate reports and metrics detailing case reviews, services, and recommendations for product and process improvements.
  4. Manage local MAKO equipment, inventories, process sales orders, and forecast with the District Sales Manager.
  5. Support demonstrations and 'Showsite' visits to showcase product clinical value.
  6. Train hospital personnel on the use of the RIO System, accessories, disposables, and implants.
  7. Report complaints promptly and accurately as per MAKO’s quality system.
  8. Resolve product issues efficiently for customers.
  9. Provide case coverage at unassigned accounts.
  10. Assist in executing sales plans and increasing RIO system utilization.
  11. Promote clinical benefits of products and build relationships with surgeons and OR staff.
  12. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to boost product awareness.
  13. Obtain purchase orders and manage inventories of products used during surgeries.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma; Bachelor’s degree in business or related technical field preferred.
  • Proficiency in office technology (ERP, Microsoft Access, Excel, Word).
  • Prefer 2+ years’ experience in sales or technical roles within healthcare or related industries.
  • Strong customer service, administrative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze specifications and assist customers in product selection.
  • Attention to detail.
