Trinny London is seeking talented Makeup Artists to join our team at Trafford Park, within Selfridges Trafford Centre. In this part‑time role you will deliver personalised makeup consultations, apply looks, and help customers discover products that suit their skins and lifestyles.

Excellent service, product knowledge, and a positive, proactive attitude are essential to thrive in a fast‑paced beauty environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or as a makeup artist is preferred.
• Passion for makeup and skincare and strong customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and cover retail hours including weekends and holidays.
• Motivation to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Positive, adaptable and proactive approach to challenges.
• Attention to detail and professionalism.

Salary - from £13.50per hour + market leading commission

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup consultations and applications for both pre-booked appointments and walk-in customers.
• Offer expert advice on product selection and usage based on individual customer needs and preferences.
• Maintain high standards of display, hygiene, and product knowledge.
• Work collaboratively with the sales and education teams to achieve and exceed sales goals and KPIs.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in makeup and skincare to continually enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Create a welcoming and inspiring environment encouraging customer loyalty and engagement.

Requirements

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Previous experience in retail or as a professional Makeup Artist, preferably within beauty or cosmetics.
• Strong passion for makeup, skincare, and customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and build rapport with customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to cover retail hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Motivation to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• A positive, adaptable, and proactive approach to challenges.
• Attention to detail, cleanliness, and professionalism.
