Job summary

Trinny London is seeking a Makeup Artist to join our Brent Cross team in London. You will greet customers, provide personalised makeup consultations, demonstrate products and book appointments, while meeting sales targets.

You will maintain a clean, well-organised makeup area, support displays, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced cosmetics environment. Experience in beauty retail and a passion for skincare are essential; weekend and bank holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail position, ideally within beauty or cosmetics.
• Passionate for makeup and skincare.
• Experience with customer relationship management and data capture targets.
• Adaptable and confident with an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
• Positive and can-do attitude.
• Punctual and flexible to work retail hours, including bank holidays and weekends.
• Personable with a customer-centric mindset.

Responsibilities

• Greeting all customers on the counter, offering exceptional customer service from introduction through to sale.
• Provide a personalised consultative approach, offering makeup services such as the Match2Me experience and appointments.
• Demonstrate and recommend products to achieve desired looks and address individual concerns.
• Conduct pre-booked customer makeup appointments.
• Meet and exceed sales targets by promoting makeup and skincare products.
• Upsell and cross-sell related beauty items to maximise sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve overall sales goals.
• Ensure the makeup section is well-organised, clean, and visually appealing.
• Maintain attractive displays to highlight featured products and promotions.
• Keep makeup tools and workstations clean and sanitised to meet health and safety standards.

The Role

Your daily to-dos might look like this:

• Greeting all customers on the counter, offering exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and offering appropriate support and guidance from introduction through to sale

• Ensure the makeup section is well‑organised, clean, and visually appealing
• Implement and maintain attractive displays to highlight featured products and promotions
• Keep makeup tools and workstations clean and sanitised to meet health and safety standards
