Job summary

NorthPoint is seeking a Make Ready Technician to maintain and prepare apartment homes and common areas. You will assist with appliance installs, unit turns, and pool care, ensuring a clean and safe community environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and a strong customer-service mindset. Weekend availability and physical stamina are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or related experience and/or training.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Background in excellent customer service.
• Willing to work weekends and a varied schedule.
• CPO or pool experience a plus.
• Excellent attitude, teamwork skills and self-motivated.
• Energetic, resourceful, and hands-on individual with a strong service orientation.
• Able to multi-task and strong organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Keep the community clean and free of debris in amenity spaces and common areas.
• Assist the Service Team with appliance installations, unit turns and other general duties when needed.
• Clean the pool area, remove trash, straighten pool furnishings, and wash pool deck as needed.
• Service the pool by checking chemicals, debugging, and removing debris.
• Maintain the exterior of the community to meet apartment living standards.
• Replace light bulbs in common areas, breezeways, and buildings.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

Who You Are

• Prior experience in caretaking or janitorial is a plus
• Ability to work in a team environment and help teammates as necessary
• Must be able to carry/ transport items weighing up to 25 pounds
• Daily ascending/descending of stairs and occasionally of ladder to perform work orders
• Must be able to perform work both inside and outside
• Continuous walking and standing
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time
• Must be able to move, bend, squat, stoop, twist, climb stairs and turn to perform day to day responsibilities
