Role

• Assisting with meal preparation for lunch and tea, and offering gentle encouragement to help manage fatigue.
• Helping with household tasks to keep the home clean, comfortable, and safe.
• Supporting nutrition and hydration needs by preparing meals and drinks she enjoys.
• Encouraging her to stay active and confident in her daily routine, while offering support when needed.
• Working in partnership with her son, who is actively involved in her care and helps with shopping.
• Respecting and nurturing her connection with family members, maintained mostly through phone calls.

Notes

• The family is exploring private physiotherapy at home to support mobility goals.
• There’s flexibility around meal times; no need to stick to a strict schedule.
• You’ll be joining an existing part-time PA to provide extra support where it’s most needed.
