Niyaa People Ltd is recruiting a Major Works Surveyor for a Surrey-based social housing provider. You will investigate complex defects, prepare specifications, and manage remedial works from start to finish, handling a live caseload while engaging residents and external contractors.

We are recruiting a Major Works Surveyor for an established social housing provider based in Surrey, supporting their property services and major works team!

As a Major Works Surveyor, you will be responsible for investigating complex property defects, preparing technical specifications and managing remedial works through to completion. You will manage a live caseload of complex repairs while working closely with residents and external contractors.

• Strong resident communication and case ownership skills
• Experience managing complex repair caseloads
• Social housing, property maintenance or residential surveying experience
• Relevant surveying, construction or building qualification is desirable
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills

This role would suit an experienced Major Works Surveyor with a strong technical background who is confident managing complex defects, contractors and resident cases from start to finish.
