Generator Power, the UK''s largest privately owned generator rental company, is seeking two Major Repair Engine Mechanics for our Normanton facility in England. The role is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with duties including engine overhauls and fault diagnosis of generator fleets, from 10 kVA to 1250 kVA.

We offer a company pension and on-site parking. Ideal candidates will have experience with generators/plant equipment or HGV, and a qualification in plant or mechanical engineering.

Competenze

• Experience with generator/plant equipment and engine overhaul.
• Familiar with mechanical and electrical control systems.
• Qualified in plant or mechanical engineering.

Mansioni

• Major repair of hire fleet engines (10 kVA to 1250 kVA).
• Fault diagnosis and repair across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strip down, inspect and rebuild engines.
• Complete other extensive repairs to ensure peak performance.
• Regular servicing, maintenance and load testing after repairs.

Generator Power is the UK's largest and privately owned generator rental company having enjoyed over 28 years of supply in the industry. Generator Power now has an excellent opportunity for two Major Repair Engine Mechanics to join our team at our Normanton facility.

Monday to Friday - 40 hours a week, 8:00 AM - 17:00 PM

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Major repair of our hire fleet of generators which consists mostly of engine overhauls across Cummins / Volvo / Perkins & Kubota engines.
• Fault diagnosis & repair across mechanical and electrical control systems.
• Strip down, inspection and rebuild of engines from 10 kVA to 1250 kVA capacity.
• Complete other extensive repairs to ensure our equipment operates to the highest performance.
• Regular servicing, maintenance and load testing of equipment once repairs have been completed.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

• Experience on generators/plant equipment / HGV (or similar)
• Experience of engine overhauling
• Plant or Mechanical engineering qualifications
